Hello Dear Friends,

As you all know, the first stage of our “Getting to know each other” is showing a bit of our country to one another.
Each country in Europe is a piece of a huge patchwork where all differences and similarities are combined and have been discovered throughout times. Portugal is no exception!
All this to tell you that a few days ago, we took three classes of ours on a field lesson to TONGÓBRIGA near MARCO DE CANAVESES – a very big and antique Roman city, that has been discovered and where archaeologic diggings are still undergoing.
The students got in touch with this piece of “living History” and also had the chance of visiting the Professional Archaeological School, where students aged from 16 till 19 learn the techniques of preserving and renewing our National Patrimony.
In spite of the bad weather, we all went home with our heart heated by knowledge.
Take care,
Manuela, Marília and Adelaide
